During the 2020 holiday season, there was a need to create a page that displayed not only the steps Best Buy was taking to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in store but also the ways you could shop from home.

Page Organization

When I first recieved this job I had been given several wireframes from other team members who had taken a look at the page already. I took what they had given me for a general idea of a direction and then also went back to the base business request.

The original organization was: "Ways to shop", "Ways get products", and "Helpful information". However, in my mind ways to shop and get products are one in the same. Instead they are just different points in the customer's shopping journey. So instead I decided to organize the page sections and bullet points by which shopping channel the customer was considering using: Online, In-store or In-home.  Promotional content was a nice to have, but not necessary to the purpose of the page so I placed it at the bottom.

According to research presented, many customers found the large paragaphs of the original page overwhelming. Taking a cue from the wireframes I had recieved I pushed the business to keep the majority of content on sub-pages and kept the page as quick hit as possible.
